I have tryed to change the Logo for win98SE ( Startup and shutdown ) I have checked in MSDOS.sys to make sure logo=1.
I cannot get logo to come on when starting or stopping.
I have done a logging trace and the second line said logo disabled. Is there any one out there that may have a better or newer idea on how to get this to run ??? Help please I have been on this for about a week.

Dreamer1,

Hi, you need to change the file logo.sys in c:\windows it only uses the default file in logo.sys for startup and shutdown if there is no file in c:\windows called logo.sys.

I beleive that the shutdown one is called logos.sys and the one you change it for needs to be the same size, ie 480x640

If you check out the FAQ in this forum, there is one that covers this subject.
