how can i set background images for phone 7970 i have som problems and i don't know what to do . I do step by step from cisco documentation but don't work i have put two pics in C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath\Desktops\320x212x12\ and also put in List.xml URI and nothing.

have you restarted the tftp service? Can you see the option to select the image in the phone settings?

Go to ccmstuff.org. There are images available and step by step instructions to do what you want. There are also a lot of ringers etc. of you want to play.

I just did some reading last night and found that what you're looking for is in the Callmanager SDK - you should be able to freely download this from cisco.com; let me know if you need the url!

ok, if you look at the ip phone services sdk, you'll find what you need. take a look at sample service numbers 25 & 26, 'photodirectory' and 'callerinfo.' they look like they'll do exactly what you want.
