User complains of regular complete freeze ups in XP Home. Never happens here in the workshop! My query concerns the Logitech Mouse and Keyboard Receiver, Pt Nbr. 831109-000.

Can anyone tell me what frequency band this device is likely to be using? I'm looking at RF interference as a possible cause, amongst many others.

If it has to go back without me being able to identify the problem, then I'll let user try a basic wired mouse and keyboard.

I don't know if this link will work - if it doesn't, simply go to logitech.com & follow the support links. Its a complete table of all their products by frequency.

If you don't see the answer there, use the support form. Logitech are surprisingly good at getting back to you.

Yes, link worked fine thanks. Yoiks! 27Mhz! No wonder it locks up with all the CB and RC-models on that frequency!
