Logitech Webcam

Hi;
Here's the problem. I have a Logitech webcam which I have used before. Now when I open the software, here is what I get:
I click on "Create Pictures"
The program opens and the graphic shows that the USB cable is disconnected,
I click on "Take Picture"
The following error message appears:
"Unable to save picture ...........The camera device is currently in use by another application."

I have 2 USB ports. I tested both and they both work. No difference when the camera is connected to either one.

How do I find where the conflict might be.

Been to device manager, but not very helpful

Try removing the drivers from your system and reinstall the webcam with new drivers from the manufacturer.
