Just fishin here....

We ship bulk material from warehouses spread across the US in LTL and FTL loads. We use firms like ABF (LTL) and CH Robinson (FTL) and others.

The order gets keyed in and then it gets handed to our logistics dept where they will determine the carrier (get quotes) and arrange the delivery.

Has anybody gone down the road of integrating Macola w/logistics (beyond UPS type shipments - Shipgear/Starship/Worldship)

Using flex and VB applicatons, this has been done before. I think Don (dgilz) may have done this with a pre-written software package.
