I have a very large application written on a SCO UNIX server running Samba 2.2
My office is in the process of developing a Windows front end for this application. We have set up share drives in samba as require.
My prblem: since the front end has its own login and password feature on it we do not want for the end user to get another login and password from the Samba server.
We have tried a number of things but we seem to be unable to find the proper combination to reach out goal.
The last since we tried was the modification to the smb.conf file provided by PHV. In my case it did not worked
The setup is as follows:
SCO UNIX 5.0.7 runing Samba 2.2
PC are all XP profesional runing in a wired network with all PC firewalls disable.
Can you help?
Thanks
JOE
