Login to FTP using IE

I know there has to be a way to do it using your password and username but how do you format that into your address bar?

I want to use IE because I am building a site and every change I make I dont want to load up thirdparty software just to upload a php file.

Any help appreciated.

I use this all the time for non-vital uses.

Just use the following syntax:

ftp://usernameassword@server.isp.net

Realize that you're sending your password in plaintext, and that any firewall logging traffic will show your password in the logged URL.
