I am using Mutliple Login scripts tied in with GPO`s and they work great and fast. ALthought there is alot of old legacy computers that take for ever to login now becuase it is waiting on scripts to take place. What settings in a GPO best speed up the login proccess when using login scripts or am i out of luck. Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks

What type of legacy computers are you talking about?

When i say legacy i ment Low in CPU, RAM, W2000.

What exactly are you doing in your logon scripts? I haven't seen much difference in performance in my logon scripts, despite differences in CPU, Memory.

I know there are setttings in GPO`s to run simultaeously and some settings about legecay computers and legacy scripts. I was just looking to find out about what those settings are.

My understanding of these legacy settings is that they refer to NT 4.0/ Win 9x, not hardware platforms, but I could be wrong.

I think chipk is correct here the 'legacy' part refers to logon scripts for older clients e.g. NT4/9x that get their logon scripts from the NETLOGON share. They also are GP unaware so the logon script is set in the users profile tab in active directory not in group policy.
