I have installed Presentation Server 4, however I am having some problems logging in with a regular user. I get an error message stating that "the desktop you are trying open is currently available only to administrators".

I have created a security group in Active Directory called Citrix Users and added the test user to this group. This security group is part of the Remote Desktop User group on the Citrix Server.

If I give the test user admin rights, I can log in fine.

I am very new to Citrix and I can not this out.

Any ideas?

Hi,

when you are sure that the users are membes of the LOCAL group Remote Desktop Users I think you try to connect to the desktop with user defined ICA connection.

Try to publish the desktop and configure the application set in the Program Neighborhood Client.

User defined desktop connections are disabled by default on PS 4.

Regards
