login problem ?

HI there,

I am using crystal reports XI, SQL server 2000. I use windows Authentication to login to SQL Server and to run my crystal reports. Now i need to publish the reports and ficilitate other users to run it through infoview.

i got a user name and password for the Central Management console, I use the Authentication type as 'Enterprise' to login to CMC. I logined, publish the report, now i try to run the report, it ask for the user name and password agian and agin. Thuough i do provide the acutal username and password which i use to run reports in crystal reports itself.

Can anyway help me out wid regards to this problem??

do you mean it is asking for password when you run the report in infoview.
I f that's waht you meant may be this will help:

Go to CMC go the object(report) then

In the PROCESS tab goto DATABASE tab and provide the
Username and password and clock on update.Then try again.

If this works the reason it's asking for is for somedatabases everytime you make changes to the report you have to set the username and password in CMC.

No, Here I am asking if the user name and password can be passed via the link that will open the report directly in infoworks. - Sort of Single Sign On
