Starting MD110 BC11 with NIU/HDU, LPU display 104.
No respons on SSSSSSS; SSSS echo from NIU in WinFiol TTY OK
Port 1 speed 9600 bps.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS <enter> OK login to niux.
Same problem trying with IPU in same BPOS (1-0-60)
SSSSSSSS but no login.
Any tip??

Set in the correct i/o board for the dump and
at the correct bpos .Then do a restart of the lim
LPU button once in and out again.(only restart ,insted of reload)

This usually do it.
(if the I/O board is on the right bpos and is the right type)

If the NIU board has the correct firmware and is located in the correct posistion (e.g. 1-0-60), it is noramlly just to remowe the NIU board for 10 seconds and put it back again.
As the the NIU board have three V24/RS232 channels (ports), you could try try to use port 2 or 3, also.
These ports need licenses to work.
Adjusting the baudrate/parity can also be helpfull.
Best regards from the doktor.

Doctor !
If you start a MD with a new dump there is no MML
programmed on port 2&3 .

Another thing all new dumps from ericsson easysw is
made for NIU2 if not specified otherwise in the order.

The 1-0-60 one-lim reference dumps is all made with NIU2.

NIU or NIU2 can be used from the same ref dump since boardid is the same. you can even swap the 2 boards on a live system and it will work.
