Hi,

I have installed Windows 2000 on a PC with a QWERTY keyboard. Tough the user that is using the PC has a Belgian AZERTY keyboard. The problem now is that to login to Windows2000 I cannot change the belgian keyboard setting there, it stays in QWERTY... I know that this can be changed in the registy. Anyone knows how ?

Once logged in the Begian Locale is active and the keyboard works properly.

Thanks,

Chris.

You need to change the default keybaord in the register ... this is the setting it uses for logging on. Once the user loggs on they it will pick up the setting for the keyboard form the user profile.

HKEY_USERS | .Default | Keyboard Layout | Preload

Have a look at Q138354.
