We use the GM Version: 7.00.70302, we've recently run into an issue with individual login screens, from our network that have all defaulted to TEST. I've gone into Edit/preferences/login and tried changing the default with no success. Does this have anyting to do with 'Open Files Exclusively' box, that is unchecked? Any thoughts?

just add a /u:BOB to the target box in the properties of the goldmine shortcuts on the workstations.
Look up command line options in the help file for more command like switches (such as /p: for password and so on)
