Hi, I'm wondering if someone can help with my problem. I have recently set up security for my Access database by creating the work group, setting up a work group administrator, setting user permissions etc. This was all done on C:\ drive to avoid crashing my work's G:\drive where the database normally resides. Now when I try to open Access by itself it requests a logon id and password (the same that I set for my database) regardless of which drive I try to open it from (copies reside in both). Can anyone tell me how to get that login promt to associate with the appropriate database and not the whole of Access and what is the best way to transfer this back onto my group drive without messing up pathways.
Any advice would be appreciated!
