Hello

I have an SQL SERVER 2000 instaled in a Windows 2000 Advanced Server and use the administrator account but I cannot attach the backupExec to device due a login problem (Login Failed).
What could be the problem? Im sure that the password is correct and I use the nt security scheme. This problem only appears with version 2000 of the SQL SERVER, we have installed version 7.0 and it worked fine.

Thanks in advance

I had similar experiences using Veritas Netbackup product.

Make sure your account is set up as system administrator under SQL. It may need to be in machine admins as well. If those steps fail, make sure you have explicit read/write permissions to each database.

Good Luck
