Does anyone know the utility that tells me what domain controller I am logging in to, also how do I specify which domain controller to login to if I was to test different DC to login.

Thanks,
Dave

Go to Start/Run, type winipcfg, click OK/More Info>>
The DNS server is determined by your ISP, and cannot be changed.

I am not asking for the DNS server, I am asking for the domain controller that the workstation authenticates to in a large enterprise. DNS server is for host name resolution. I need to know what DC to make sure it is replicating properly.

It would be specified in the login script if you can view that I suspect. Is there a net.cfg file? This can be used to specify the domain. Don't know what network software you are running...

Why not just right click on network neighborhood, properties, then double click on client for microsoft networks and see what domain is listed there to log into.
