I have a problem with the visual aspects of the create new user control. I have page that uses a master page. This page displays the create new user wizard. The actual control works and when you first visit the page it looks normal. When you click on the first text box which is 'user name' the remaining text boxes move down. If you hit tab, it will go to the next text box which is 'password' but then it moves back up under the 'user name' box. This behavior continues as you move through the text boxes. Also, if you highlight by draging all the items on this part of the page and move your mouse around they will randomly move up and down the page.

This only happens with internet explorer. I have tried firefox, chrome, and safari and they all work just fine with out the text boxes moving around.

Can anyone help?

Do you have any custom CSS that might be causing the problem? With no code or markup posted, it's hard to help.

The only stuff I have for CSS is in the div tag on the master page, so far that CSS is only for the width and floating it to the left and boarders. The master page has the content holder that is in a div tag but the actual create new user page doesn't have any CSS at all.

Do you have any javascript that you are using for positioning? These are the only things that I can think that would cause this behavior.

No java script.

I wonder, even if I had java script, shouldn't the other browsers have the problem also?

It all depends on how the browser interprets the js. Remember, all browsers conform to their own rules(especially IE), although they should follow standards. This is what complicates web programming.

What code can I post here to help in assisting to figure out what is going on?

I looked at the styles any other code and so far I am just using inline styles for other elements but I am not using any sort of styles for this create new user control. There are no style sheets attached and there is not a style tag in the header tag.

I also tried to created an entirely new page and put another creat user control on it and that also had the same problem.

Any other iteas?
