After I try to login to my system as the "4th user", the system displays "LOGIN: All licenses are in use" and does not allow me to login.

When I do a "uname -X", it displays a 5-user license (Users = 5-user).

When I do a "who" only 3 users are currently logged in.

When I do a "brand -L" all the license information is correct.

When I do a "scoadmin license", the SCO OpenServer Enterprise System license is listed and the field Licensed=YES.

Any ideas?

brand -u

tells you how many licenses are actually in use.

I can't tell from your post if you understand that logging in as the same user 3 times does consume 3 licenses.

Also, it is NOT just logins that consume license; see

Yes, I do understand that logging in using telnet, rlogin, etc. as the same or different user does consume a user license. We are going to remove and reinstall the license and brand again and see if this helps. Thank you.
