Hi ppl.
I have a Nokia 530 with an ethernet card with 4 ports in addition to the standard 4 ports in the chassis.
Ive connected a cisco switch to one of the ports in the card and have given both interfaces (VLAN 1 on the switch and eth-s1p3c0 on the firewall) ip addresses.
But I still cannot locally ping the firewall IP address (even from the firewall).
I get a green link light...but when I do ifconfig -a the interface is listed (along with the other 2 eth-s1p2c0 and eth-s1p1c0 which are working fine). BUT I cannot see the 'lname eth-s1p3c0' even though I do see it on s1p2c0 and s1p1c0....
I have checked voyager - but everything seems to be in order - I see the logical address listed.
Is there anything else I need to do to activate this logical interface...right now i see messages saying fw_filterin: 2 (eth-s1p3c0) unknown interface.
Any help much appreciated with this. Thanks
