Has anybody heard of a problem with Windows 2K and Extending Logical Drive on a RAID controller causing data corruption?

I have a COMPAQ ML370 with a Company Smart Array 3200 and I am being told by Compaq that they have an artical (that they can not provide to me) warning that extending a logical drive on Windows 2K will cause data corruption.

Has anybody has any problems like this? Has anybody seen any articles discussing this?

Frustrated?
