How do we log all outbound calls? We do not want to record calls/conversations, but we need to know what extension is dialing a particular outside number. We have full PRI. I know we can look at the log's at each phone we use: 2420 and 4620's, but we need to see a text file, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
install & run either SMDR or DeltaServer(V2.0 onwards) on a central PC ( the VM Server would probably do)
this will create a log file in CSV format that you can process
 
What is the difference between the products?
Which is better? Cost?
 
SMDR was a sawn of version of delta server intended only to produce Call loging output. this was dropped in 2.0 (probably to avoid maintaining 2 peices of almost identical code)& deltaServer provides the same functionality even without a licence.
It is Free & supplied on the Admin CD.
use which ever one is aplicable to your system
