Hi,

I have a database using SQL server authentication but...
Is there anyway to have some sort of audit report showing successful or failed access attempts on any specified table in the database?

Something similar to how the NT event viewer can capture failed login attempts from NT security.

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

You can use SQL trace (BOL sp_trace_create and sp_trace_setevent) to audit login/logout/fails.
