I was wondering what I would need to do to have my router log failed login attempts. I have tried levels 1-7, and I looked at debug commands. I must be missing something obvious. This will be for a remote router that we call into from a modem to the console port. In other words I want to log failed console connection attempts. Thanks in advance.

Are you running Cisco ACS? TACACS? If so, you can look at all the failed attemps there.

no, not yet!!!!,, we have passport 800x series that log access failures, so i just figured that one of the levels or debugging would work,,, thanks
