Logging readings from USB device in Excel

I have a usb device (

that can measure a few voltages and digital. I can read values using terminal emulator.

I would like to be able to log data directly into excel.

In the past I used a load cell with RS232 link to PC that used a third party piece of software called WinWedge that allowed a macro in Excel to record load value directly into spreadsheet with a keyboard command.

Would it be possible using only Excel macro to do the same. I don't have coding experience and wont be able to program too much.

So you have dowloaded the Windows driver. Yes?

And what emulator are you using to read?

There you have me. I'm fairly ignorant on these issues.

I was using the hyper terminal in windows. Just set the com port, baud rate and the DLP device does the rest.
