Hi,running Exchange 5.5 with logging enabled in MTA, when i go to check sent mail from lets say user1 to user2, it gives error saying that log file is missing, and to enable logging??

What gives??

Thanks,

O11

If you haven't already I'd check the following;-

- You have a directory under exchsrvr called tracking.log and that there are *.log files in it
- The directory is shared as 'tracking.log'
- Your Exchange service account has full rights to it.

Cheers,

Rob.

Scarra, thanks for info, will check those 3 things, new to exchange and appreciate any help!!

No go, checked all 3, any more ideas? The log dir has zero log files in it?

Check all your drives for a tracking.log folder, as there can be more than one.

Check the Enable Message Tracking is ticked in the properties for Information Store Site Configuration as well as in MTA Site Configuration
