Logging into MICB?????????

I have an MICB that needs to have the ip address changed. One problem, I can no log into it. When I connect my laptop to the back panel connection I get:

HLC>

I type "login" and get

Password:

I type the default of "admin" and get

Password:

I keep getting the password prompt 3 times til it fails and takes me back to the HLC> prompt.

So, I have two questions. (1)If my password is no longer the default, how do I reset it? The book says to type rst and the card ID except one, I don't know where I can enter rst since I can't log in and two, what is the card ID? And (2)What is HLC> and am I even supposed to see that? The manual never mentions that prompt so I am wondering what in the heck I am even looking at.

Bottom line is I just want to get to System Admin and change my IP settings and I can't even get in the sucker. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure. We got the thing about 4 years ago, so, I would suspect it's an earlier version though.
