Hope you can help a bit long winded.
I am a member of the local admin group at work and have created a computer account in server manager (NT)
I wanted to try to log into my works network from home I have done that succsesfully, and I am able to work off and online etc but my question is I log on with my works username/password and can browse the network etc. But I am unable to accsess certain files on my local machine that have been designated as administrator only. I thought thats okay I shall add my works username to the local admin group. So whilst logged into the domain as me I opened up The relevant snap in to amend groups/users but it had a cross on it (I guess this is cause it doesnt have active directory)???

So I then logged in as the local machine adminstrator to add me in but all this will do is create a new user (on the local machine) with my works username cause I wont be able to accsess the ou directory database.

So how do I add my works nt details to the admin group of the local machine?

Oh also when i am logged on my works domain I cant launch outlook says wasnt installed properly accsess denied although I have shared it to all users

Many Thanks for your help in advance
