I was trying to log into a Grandstream UCM 6104 to access the music on hold file but was unsuccessful on numerous attempts. I kept receiving "this site can't be reached" using Chrome as my browser. I did the following in attempting to log in. 1) I connected my laptop to the LAN port of the UCM 6104 as well as to the Ethernet Switch". 2)I opened my browser and entered the IP address that shows in the display. 3) I tried using HTTPS:// before the IP address as well as adding the port number at the end. None of this helped. Am I doing this wrong or am I overlooking something? Do I need to change my network adapter settings to log in? I'm at my wits end on this. Thanks for suggestions you may give.

??? What display? what do you mean?

You need to change your IP to be on the same network.
If the Grandstream is 192.168.0.2 then your laptop adapter setting for TCP/IP4V needs to be set to 192.168.0.anythingbut2 (or Obtain IP Automatically if the Grandstream is DHCP)

The display on the UCM 6104 that shows the unit's IP address. I will try that. Thanks

Cody I did that also. The one thing I didn't do was change my network IPv4 settings in the range of the unit's IP address as curlycord suggested. I will return to the site and try both suggestions and will let you know the results. Thanks again.

Well I gave it my best shot using the advice and suggestions of those here and also those I received in the Grandstream forum. Still unable to connect to the UCM IP address. I've settled for doing a work around by using my smart phone to record the MOH message. I will evaluate the audio quality to see if it's suitable to use in the digital MOH player and if not I will shop for a company that can recreate it a reasonable price. Thanks to everyone for your advice and suggestions.
