Hey, all.
We're trying to figure out if there's any way to do this. I want to find out if anyone's ever had luck with, essentially, logging Phone Manager Pro onto a virtual extension that is call forwarded. The theory is that the user can log in to Phone Manager, and when they make a call, it dials the user's cellphone, and then calls the destination party.
On our in-house system I've tried logging in to a call-forwarded extension (that is logged out) and no luck in making calls. I can actually log into PM and change settings, but that's as far as I get. Then, I was hoping I could enter in my cell phone as the base extension in Phone Manager, but no luck there either.
Theoretically, I don't think this is possible. I'm pretty positive it's why Avaya released the one-X Mobility Client. But it is just a crackpot theory that we are trying to figure out for a new customer.
Thanks in advance!
