Hello All,
I'm running sendmail 8.13.8-2 on CentOS 5.2
For troubleshooting purposes, I need to be able to capture the full SMTP transactions and e-mail content between sendmail and the remote mail server during message outbound delivery.
One complicated way to do that would be to capture network traffic, and reassemble/decode packets.
But I am certain there is a way to configure sendmail in such a fashion that it logs the whole SMTP transaction for me to look at ?
Thanks folks !!!
(BTW: this is to troubleshoot why gmail is silently discarding 80% of the e-mails sent to @gmail.com addresses, not even filing them under the "Spam" folder).
