We had one of the logger go offline for about 8 hours, according to the log it lost power and came back on its own.

The two power supplies have two seperate power source. And our second logger plugged in exactly the same did not experience any issues.

Could this be more of a logger hardware issue than a power problem? The loggers are in a fairly secure area and no one should off been near them at that time.

hi,

when u say logs i presume windows event viewer logs.

have you checked the d:\ntlogger\logger\logs folder for any issues that led up to outage.

Are there any DMP files that would indicate a blue screen of death.

I presume from your previous message that it has dual power supplies. what version of NICE is it nice perform or 8.x?

On the back of the logger are both led's green on power supplies.

Have you checked audit trail for an messages if 8.x or nms if perform generated by logger.

Is there anything else in cab where logger is, did any of them restart and come back online.

Havn't checked the d:\ntlogger\logger\logs folder yet but will do.

We're running Nice 9.1 Perform.

I think both led's are green I'll check.

And nothing else in the cab went out. There are actually 6 servers on the same rack.
