I would like to read the content of the $Logfile and $MFT. Is there a tool to do this. I am still browsing on your links, thanks linney. My teacher wanted us to write a research paper about $Logfile and $MFT of Windows XP. She wanted us to explain its uses and how to read its contents. I can see parts and pieces of the file but there's a lot of garbage that I can't understand. I still haven't seen a program that will allow me to parse and read the files.
