log4j jsdk 1.4.2 Error...

Hello,

Running 1.4.2_03, and I get LogConfigurationException "No Suitable Constructor"

Couldn't find anything on the net, bug parade, log4j website.

I don't get the error with 1.4.1 or other j2sdk's, and it
seems to affect every program I have that uses log4j, openjms, ant etc...

Anyone have this issue?

Ouch - I didn't ever think I'm make that mistake again...didn't have log4j-x.jar on the classpath.

Dropped it into .../jre/lib/ext to test, and away everything works now. Adding yet another jar to CLASSPATH. Still don't understand why this is unnecessary for other jsdks 1.4.1 & 1.5
