log volume full

We have a tsm server version 5.2.3.1 we are trying to bring it back up. The log volume is 13gb. We get error anr2452e. Is there a work around? How can we bring tsm up?

If the recovery log was at 12GB, you got 1GB for emergency extention.

If your recovery log is at 13GB and its 100% full.
Your only solution is to restore the database from the most recent backup.

13GB is a hard limit for the recovery log.

Yes restoration from tape is only solution in this case
