FYI For Resellers and Corp Clients:
Aloha is finally letting us have the translog utility.
At least, legally. You can't edit it directly, but you can "zap" transactions.

"The Aloha Log Utilities are provided to help Aloha resellers and direct customer help desks directly address trans.log corruption and splitting issues. The log utilities allow support technicians to perform actions on the trans.log such as viewing log contents, splitting logs, running fixlog, and removing corrupt transactions. "

The Zip file they give you only contains Dumplog and Zap executables for certain versions of Aloha. You have to ask Radiant nicely for versions 3.6 - 5.3
