Hello, I know you can log ship between 2000 and 2008 but can you go the other way.

What about replication?

We are discussing what order to upgrade our servers and would like to know if we upgrade our primary before our secondary can I still log ship to it? (Secondary being used for several things.)

Thank you,

djj

No you can't log ship from SQL 2008 to SQL 2000.

Yes you can replicate data from SQL 2008 to SQL 2000.
