all help is appreciated!

from my current log file:

@400000003edf91d224d36034 starting delivery 3228: msg 76278 to local mname@mydomain
@400000003edf91d224d3d17c status: local 1/10 remote 1/20
@400000003edf91d23017552c delivery 3228: success: did_1+0+1/

if the delivery was a success why didn't I get the message?

What's going on???

Assuming you are running qmail with plain system-accounts, i would check
1. /var/qmail/control/defaultdelivery
(as far i know, defaults to ./Maildir/ )
2. /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-default
(at my site this is set to:
|/var/qmail/bin/fastforward -p -d /etc/aliases.cdb
|/var/qmail/bin/bouncesaying 'No mailbox by that name.'
, just as a last resort, i catchup every single user by:)
3. /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-mname (where mname your username)
contents: &mname (where mname is your local systemuser)
4. ~mname/.qmail
for debugging, i would rename/delete this temporarily
5. User mname has setup his/her maildir ? (maildirmake will help)
