I am new to networking. We have two servers that are physically connected. I work off the 1st floor server in my building. Sometimes I need to create a new user on the 3rd floor server. I have to log off the 1st floor server and log on to the 3rd floor server. Is there a way I can be logged on to both servers at the same time?

Yes. There's two ways to do this

1)you must have administrators rights on both servers. login to one of them and run netware administrator "NWADMN32". From the icon menu, choose "start a new browser". type in the tree and the context and you will have a new window. one from your server and one from the other.

2) Use "DSMERGE"

Here's the link.

I presume you are running the latest Novell Client on your workstation as this allows you to be authenticated to more than one tree at a time - I presume your servers are in seperate trees? -----------------------------------------------------

Thank you very much. It was easy as pie. *<|:)
