Using CR-10. Trying to log on to Crystal Enterprise so I can use CR Repository. Asks for System, User, Password, and Authentication. When I enter the info, I receive the error message :

Unable to retrieve cluster memebers. CMS host 'system' can be contacted, but there is no CMS running at port 6400

How do I get the CMS running at port 6400?

Hi,
Check to be sure the CMS is running and enabled on that host server.

Turkbear is right on that!! Ensure all are enabled. Restart just to be sure...

What if it was enabled in the past and now it is no longer enabled.
I am getting the same error message. When I go into the configuration manager, the server is now showing as being disabled. If I try to enable it, I get the error before I can enable it. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Stacey

Also make sure that your web host (IIS?) is running properly and that no conflicts exist.

Read this knowledge base article
support.businessobjects.com/library/kbase/articles/c2014634.asp.

You can also try adding a 'new' CMS from the CCM. CMS gives problems also if you do not have a database installed for the CMS, it gives problems and does not enable the CMS. Just a thought.
