Log on screen..

Is there a way to create a log on sxreen/text box for my form.

I would like it to gather usernames and log on information from our local server eg.'srv001'

so people can log on using thier same username and passwords that they use within the company for thier PC.

and once logged in, is there a piece of code to display something such as 'logged in as....'

?

Another hint for using search is that there are several forums for Access. For example forum702, forum705, forum701, forum700, forum181.

Add them to your thread list and then, when you search for an Access-related issue, select "Just my Forums (Threadminder List)". A particular issue associated with Access may be addressed in a different forum than you were expecting.
