The system is running windows server 2003r2 and is a domain controller. This morning, I noticed it instlled updates at 3.12am in the night and restarted but when I log on, it showed blue screen of death and the message "log on proces system shut down" but found that the system was still running.
I powered it down and restarted but instead of logging on locally, I log on remotely from another computer not as admin but a user with admin credentils, and was able to accees the console.
I checded the events logs and the application log registerd error 1001 fault bucket 1229450977 and faulting module ntdll.dll v.5.2.3790.455, fault address 0x 00043de2.
I google it up but did not provide any meaningful solution to fix the problem to prevent future error.
Any idea
