Hi Folks. Got a problem. I recently reinstalled W2K Pro on one of my multi boot computers. Now when I boot the OS it automatically logs me on. I do NOT want this as this is going to be a computer used by students. I have enabled the Ctrl Alt Del requirement in both the group and security policies but it didn't help. The idea of reinstaling the OS and software is kinda driving me loopy. Anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi there,

When the machine is booting try holding down the shift key. This should prevent the machine from logging on automatically.

Goto control panel, user accounts, advanced tab and select 'require users to prese ctrl-alt-del'

In control panel\user accounts tick users must enter a username and password to use this computer
