Hi
We have a sharepoint portal site that has a number of users. Each user has there own personal site within the sharepoint site.
The sharepoitn site runs on a non standard port i.e. not port 80.
When we give the user the url to their own site they get prompted for logon details which then lets them view their site.
What I want to happen is to give each of the users a standard url, i.e. and then they get prompted for logon, and based on their logon details they get redirected to their own site. currently this doesnt happen.
I can do a basic homepage for port 80 on the server which gets logon details and then runs a script in the background, but I want to know if there is anywhere I can configure this in sharepoint itself so I can redirect the users without having to write a new page in HTML
Cheers
