Log Off Problem

Can't log-off user. Have to shutdown machine. Anyone else with this situation?
 
I do not know the network setting you are referring to. Fast User Switching is disabled in some settings; or perhaps not enabled manually for this setting if available.

Try Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice.

You as administrator can go to Control Panel Users and specify how login is handled by default, although again in some settings this is controlled by a group policies.

You might check policy settings with the group policy snap-in gpedit.msc.
 
You haven't mentioned if u have installed all of the official updates released by Microsoft.If u haven't installed the updates,please do so.There is a patch that solves this problem.
If u have installed tha patchez , and ur problem still persists , reinstall Windows.
