We are running Notes R5, and are constantly getting the LOG.NSF file corrupted, with the message: C:/Lotus/Domino/Data/Log.nsf is CORRUPT - Now Read Only! Cannot write to log file, database is corrupt - cannot allocate space: The only way around this is to copy the log.nsf at the operating system level, delete the original log.nsf and recopy the file back to log.nsf. This works for a time, but probably once or twice a week, the same thing happens.

It sounds like you're running out of space on yout server which causes the log.nsf to fill up and get corrupt.

You shouldn't need to put another copy in there, it should automatically create another one. Also, just as justdan suggests, check out your disk space and also the see if the file has any quota set on it. Lamaar75@hotmail.com

On the case, it has not anything to do with harddisk space, run fixup and updall for log.nsf.
