Hi to everyone:
Lately I got a problem accessing my hotmail account with
IE 6.0
I am coming to the hotmail login page, and entering my
sign-in name and password.
Guess what happens: I am getting the page, with "Please re-
enter your password" - was not anything like that before.
Strange thing: I can access this account perfectly by
using my Outlook Express or other browser, like Netscape.
Does anybody have clue, what is going on here?
I will highly appreciate for any suggestions.
With best,
-marius.

P.S.OS=2000Prof.

I have just installed 98 for a friend (for the 2nd time because of the same problem) for some reason it is not saving any cookies (although they are there when you look in the temp internet folder) This means that Yahoo messenger or any server that needs to install a cookie keeps failing, similer to your experience with MSM. I am going to install netscape to see if this works like it seems to for you. Have you tried uninstalling IE totally and downloading the latest version from fresh? That will be my next step if netscape works okay.
If anyone does solve this could you please post it to save some of us the headache of trying a multitude of other time consuming efforts

IE 6.0/Hotmail/Password problem:
- Lower your "Privacy" to "Medium High" (or lower)

Yes tried that and no good. Have tried to install "opera" another web browser, just the same problems. But Netscape was fine, everything worked okay. Annoying though!!!!
