We currently host a few websites and produce log file reports on a monthly basis. Currently we are using some old DOS based system to crunch the log files into a report based format. Apparently, we did use (before my time here) WebTrends 4.5 to do this job, but it took far too long to resolve the DNS. I see that there is now a WebTrends 6. something out. has anyone used it, is it any good, as the demo i downloaded persists in locking me out of functions i want to use to test it. If not can anyone recommend a good, quick application that can resolve DNS in less than a week !!!

You don't need to crunch the log file and convert it on a report. You can choose from IIS what kind of log file standard (NCSA,W3C) to use and also the size (daily, monthly, ecc). For example: webalizer use the NCSA so saving the logs on NCSA format you must do nothing.
