Log files lost Please Help

Hi

I have a big big problem I'm re-building a Exchange server. however I have lost all the log files however I do have the database files .edb & .stm. Does this mean I've lost everybody mailbox data?? If this is not the case how can I get the mailbox info re-mounted.

I've tried creating a new mailbox store which does mount then renaming my old database files but then the mailbox store will not mount.
