Anyone have any recommedations on a log analyzer for Apache? I would like to also know if there is a way to see currently connected users? Best would be a combination of these.

AWStats and Webalizer are popular log analyzers.

I know both these log analyzers. HOwever can you monitor currently active users on the web server?

Not any way that I know of. A web connection is typically very brief, then the user goes away and may or may not download another page.

tail -f logfile lets you watch connections in near-realtime.
