I have a lodge with a sx200 they want a rad for if the console is busy and to press a number to leave a message or
if there's no answer a recording stating the busines hours ect... Wouldn't this be a ACD program?
You're thinking is right cause you can do this with ACD2000. My problem is I am talking from a ICP3300 perspective as I don't know the SX200. If it's more or less the same you would want to program rerouting on busy to one ACD path and assign a RAD port with an interflow dialing list associated to that RAD port.
This will give you the option of recording your message with instructions to the caller.
On no answer you could send the call to a different patch with a different RAD message stating business hours etc.
I won't elaborate too much cause I'm not sure the programming is the same on the SX200.
you'll have to clarify what version sx200 you have.
On a SX200D/L/EL I'm pretty sure the superconsole 1000 has up to 8 hold positions that are for incoming calls so i can't imagine the consoel is busy. There is a class of service option for the console for console call forward. From there you could forward the call to a voicemail and use a menu or a transaction box to give the caller options to transfer elsewhere or leave a message.
